These witch hat cookies are a fun activity to do during a Halloween party at home, after apple picking, or during a fun fall night with the kids! They’re simply the most fun Halloween cookies ever!

Oreo Cookies

This classic black and white sandwich cookie serves as the perfect base of the hat or “brim” to these easy witch hat cookies! You could also use fudge-covered oreos or any other small chocolate cookies!

Chocolate

Melted chocolate acts as an edible “glue” to adhere the top of the hat to the brim! You may use a chocolate bar or chocolate chips! You can use either a piping bag or a spoon to put the melted chocolate on the oreos.

Hershey Kisses

Hershey kisses make the perfect top for these adorable witch hat cookies! Simply unwrap and glue them to the center of each cookie with melted chocolate!

Edible Gold Star Sprinkles

These festive sprinkles are the perfect Halloween touch to add to baked goods, candy, desserts and drinks! They add the most whimsical and sparkle to the top of the cookie. You can find them on Amazon!

Step by Step Instructions to Make Halloween Witch Hat Cookies

Unwrap the Hershey kisses and discard the foil wrapper and paper flag. Place them on a plate and set aside.

If you’re using a chocolate bar, chop the chocolate into pieces or chocolate chips and place them in a small microwavable bowl. Place in the microwave and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each until the chocolate has completely melted.

If you’d like, fill a plastic bag or piping bag with the melted chocolate. Snip off the very corner of the bag with scissors and pipe melted chocolate into the center of the Oreo cookie. You can also use a spoon as show in the video below!

Place the bottom of the kiss in the center of the melted chocolate. Top immediately with edible gold star sprinkles.

Description

Ingredients

12 oreo cookies

12 Hershey kisses, unrapped

1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted

Edible Gold Star sprinkles


Instructions

Place chocolate chips in a small microwavable bowl. Place in the microwave and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each until the chocolate has completely melted.

Place a dime size amount of the melted chocolate in the center of the oreo.  Place an unwrapped Hershey kiss in the middle of the chocolate and immediately top with edible gold star sprinkles.

Place on a plate until the chocolate has solidified.

Serve!
